Summer Run Special Report

Gees, I just ran yesterday morning I felt different, this time it's really getting more hotter. As a runner, best best time to run is during break of dawn or have a late night run. Arm with hydration stuff, I ran on my usual Sunday route and i started quite late and after few kilometers of my run, I felt the hotness of the day and a bit humid already. The heat of the sun is eating my body plus my body is releasing it's exothermic reaction with sweat. I felt exhausted after a couple of kilometers. Thank God, I didn't faint in the middle of the road!

After the run, I'm thinking already of a cold shower, ice cream, Halo halo of Razon's or anything cold that my brain is telling me. So I contemplated on few things that we Metropolitan Manila peeps that are doing.

1. Wear light clothing. Wearing light clothing feels you cool. It's makes you relax and comfortable. Best thing is that we wear summer outfits going to work and running like Derek Ramsey in the road with half naked body. Patabulgan ng katawan( show off your body)

2. Stay indoor and outdoor! We should appreciate the sun, stay outdoor. Do run, sun salutation for your asanas, swim in the beaches or the pool. Hit Bora or Plaawan and rediscover nature. This reminds of "Bukal-Bukal" in my province, thwe place is that not nice but once you dip yourself to the natural spring water pool, you'll surely miss your name. It's soothes your body from the heat of the sun. As noontime reaches, stay indoor. Watch your hilarious noontime shows. Go to the malls and chillout with window shopping or shop 'til you drop. As dusk falls in. Enjoy a cold beer with friends. Chillax.

3. Eat halo halo this time. Halo halo or "jumble jumble" rather than "mix mix." Enjoying a class of this Filipino dessert will alleviate your senses to a new level. Savor the sweetness of sweetened banana, jack fruit, mung beans, young coconut meat, purple yam jam and sago, topped with ice and showered with milk. Heaven! Other foods during this time will surely calm you down, eat gelato from a gelateria or simply sipped a healthy fruit smoothie! It's refreshing.

4. Summer is the best time to be busy. As kids goes to summer school like art workshop. Better do a summer business with friends if you're teenage. Summer is quite boring but doing summer job from a fast food joint is fun. This will help interpersonal skills and boost up confidence. Set up a business like halo halo bar or barbecue stall. Better off join volunteering to some NGOs. For, yuppies, be active on sports and be healthy. Better shed off the fat by doing exercise and whatever exercise you want. You know it already what I'm talking.

5. Appreciate life with sun. With summer heat. Things gets twisted and it's a time I guess to sat on a hammock under a tree and enjoy the gift of sun. Sun is indeed the center universe and if we centered our self with the blessings of life, we could be able to enjoy life more.

Even we are in the middle of summer, I'm sure that we could catch up to cool down this summer.

It's Final, 10KM Run Nature Valley Run 2010

Running has been my latest hobby. It's not just form of exercise to be fit but it is a form stress reliever and a time to know more about myself in midst of challeges. running is a bit exhausting for some but if you run as part of exercise and or joining fun run, running would be luike drug that you'll be addicted with.

I've been running since the start of this year. First running event was Condura 2010 last February 7, 2010 and followed by Globe Run for Home 2010 for 5KM. Although results are quite good, I felt that it's that exhausting upon reaching finish line and I wanted to run more. I've been thinking recently if I need to extend my running event mileage. My original was to run for 5KM for the rest of the year.

Since I started joing Adination, I was inspired with the stories of running mates and our weekly trainings even made me more eager to run long. So it's final, for the Nature Valley Run 2010, I will run 10 kilometers. Time to conquer Buendia flyover and pass through EDSA! No more doubts and pretentions, I could confidently say to myself I can run 10KM. The goal is to reach finish line. It's about to set up my personal record for 10KM.

Now, upon checking my official race bib number as runner number 3011 and my running singlet. I feel that I can make it! Yes I can make it.

Starting............

I've been wanting to blog since then but i have alway writer's block. Damn this blockage. It's like having a block on my arteries that lead me brain to paralyze the art of writing blog. Thank God, I had it gone for cardioplasty (personally I didn't undergone this operation and hopefully not in my entire life). Now, I can freely do different things in my blog site. I hope I can be bring entertainment to others.

What topic should I start with??? I really don't have any idea. I don't want to sound too political since elections is nearing. I don't want go with fad since it will begone. I just want just to have simple blog.

Today is really a hot day again. The world is getting hotter and hotter each day. Even we are getting hotter and hotter as well not just physically, sensually but also emotionally. Gee, this hot weather brings out temperance up. It seems that we hate this world. We hate even ourselves and this leads to disturbia.I hope that each of us could help the world turn in to a cooler place that is healthy live with. Indeed a simple action in life like walking or cycling and instead work your luxury car going to work is helpful in cooling off the world.

I really wanted to move out in this tiny cubicle nation but it's hot outside. I guess I need to move and just wait, I'll be chasing urban jungle!
